Our Menu (Week of June 24, 2012)

Poor, poor, neglected blog.  Last week I had too good a time enjoying summer and didn’t give this little blog the love and attention it deserves.  But this week I’ll be back in the saddle and hope you’ll stick around to see what I have up my blogging sleeve. 🙂

Since Munchie really liked learning about France we’ve decided to continue exploring that lovely country for our “learning about our world” activities (as noted in our 102 Things To Do This Summer List).  So I’ll also keep France a part of our menu plan just as it was last week.  🙂  I’ll also be sharing a few recipes from this menu plan.  Are you interested?

Here’s what we’re having this week.  Bon Appetit!

  1. dearjes says:

Oh my… looks so yummy!! I don’t see haggis though? 😉

  2. Oooh – a Scottish Festival! Sounds fun! I’m an Irish girl with a little bit of Scottish in me, so sounds like my kind of event! We went to Brave the opening night and I LOVED it!! 🙂
Looks like another tasty week! 🙂

  3. Your menu sounds AMAZING!!

  4. I love crepes! With my sweet tooth I never think to make them savory, but yours sounds delish. Do you have a recipe you can share for the apple custard tart?

  5. I tried to do a teriyaki dish which was okay but I don’t think it was as it was supposed to be. I think Japanese is a cuisine is one I definitely I need to practise more. Anyway, great menu for this week!

  6. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
