Bacon love

We aren’t done celebrating Valentine’s Day in our house.  Too many cute ways to show the love.  So we started the day with heart bacon.  Couldn’t be easier, couldn’t be cuter to my 3-year old.  I followed The Paper Mama’s directions.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and grab a pack of bacon.  This is our favorite bacon (and by our I mean my little girl and myself…my husband doesn’t care for bacon.  I know.  He has issues).  A brand like Oscar Mayer might be easier to form into hearts, but for taste we prefer this thicker cut by Farmland.

Cut the bacon in half, and with 2 halves, form as many hearts as you like and pop them in the oven for about 20 minutes (or for as long as it takes to get them just as you like…we like them crispy).

I could eat a whole pack of bacon.  Please don’t judge:)
